Enrolments & Fees

Fees and Enrolments

Our childcare fees depend on the age of your child and the number of hours of childcare you need. To enrol at our centre, first complete our online waiting list form. We will contact you when a place comes available.

Our minimum childcare is 2 days per week

To help your child feel comfortable at St Mary’s, they must enrol for a minimum of 2 days per week. Children attend between 2 and 5 days per week and for up to 10 hours per day, depending on family requirements.

Childcare has more information, including the hours your child can attend our centre.

How to Enrol

To enrol your child at St Mary’s childcare centre, first complete our online waiting list form . This lets us know you’re interested in a place at our centre, and puts your child on our waiting list.

When a childcare place comes available

While you’re on the waiting list, we’ll contact you to let you know if places are coming up and check whether you’re still interested in enrolling your child. When a suitable place is available, we’ll arrange for you to visit the centre and complete our full enrolment form. We will respond to your waiting list application within 3 working days. You may visit the centre at any time before enrolling, in fact we encourage you to do so, so you can see how our services will support your family need.

Complete and submit THIS FORM to go on our waiting list. There are NO fees to do this.

Paying our childcare fees

This payment policy explains our rules for paying our childcare fees.

Payment of childcare fees

We invoice weekly, 1 week in arrears. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.

We prefer that you pay by setting up a regular automatic payment for this weekly amount. You may choose to reduce the frequency of payments by setting up a fortnightly or monthly automatic payment.

You can also use online banking to pay invoices.

Holidays and absences

We charge fees for every enrolled day of our 50-week operating year, including when your child is away from the Centre and for statutory holidays (except Christmas and New Year).

Christmas and New Year

No fees are charged for the 2-week period over Christmas and New Year when the Centre is closed.

Teacher-only day

We  don’t charge fees for our teacher-only day, which occurs on the first day of the Centre year in January

Overdue payments

We treat invoices that are not paid within 14 days as overdue, and we will send you a reminder notice.

We may cancel your enrolment if you don’t pay

If we don’t receive a payment within 14 days of the original invoice date, we may cancel your child’s enrolment without further notice. However, we do consider hardship.

Hardship

Please let us know if payment of fees may be causing hardship. We are a Christian centre, and our Management Committee can consider your needs.
