A explosion of sensory sound and sight instruments awaited the children as we entered the area in which this incredible art/music exhibition was housed.

There were interactive musical instruments and also an area which we looked at in awe, no touching allowed.

There was a station where ear muffs were used and the children watched and listened to the muscians playing the various equipment, this proved a very popular area with the children as did the instrument which needed the foot to pump what looked like an airbed pump, to produce a variety of sounds.

We were also very lucky to practically have the exhibition to ourselves allowing the children to explore uninhibited.

The children are learning that sound can be produced by any type of material from drainpipes, rubber tubing, metal plates to bamboo and feather dusters.  This experience covered curriculum areas, art, construction, science, maths, music, drama and technology.
